Nice one mate. Not the weather for standing on the line, but that didn't seem to put people off turning up anyway.Crackerjackpencil wrote:Hey up everyone, got this forum of a colleague...who I spent most of the morning with huddled under a brolly on picket duty...Great turnout here in the midlands

Agreed, some cheeky buggers actually asked me if I was going to come in...I've put in 24 years and picketed on all industrial action...Now it's essential we remain soild and show them intimidation won't bloody work anymore. Press coverage was crap, we had a news crew from central news down, they interviewed the mail centre manager and our branch ceretary and only the MCM gets a look in...Talk about unbiased coverage.

Our local paper turned up, interviewd the rep, took some photos and left. They weren't interested in anything the opposition had to say. Yes, remaining solid is the key because those sh***s from Line Manager right up to Gordon Brown will be hoping for a drift back to work.Crackerjackpencil wrote:Agreed, some cheeky buggers actually asked me if I was going to come in...I've put in 24 years and picketed on all industrial action...Now it's essential we remain soild and show them intimidation won't bloody work anymore.
