Saturdays

Hi all new to the Royal Mail got my shifts and as the new guy I fully expect to get a lot of Saturdays but I have been given a block of 6 weeks shifts which include every Saturday. Is this the norm or taking the P a bit?

There is no “norm” managers have been given green light by our weak powerless union to do and say whatever they want.hopefully things calm down & you can enjoy job,good luck

Sorry to ask is it extra pay for Saturdays? The induction wasn’t clear

Same pay rate every day of the week.

Saturday's can be an issue Technician, if you work in a big town/city with a home football team playing at 3pm.

It's sometimes a long queue of traffic to make it back to the office.
