Hi all new start soon. Recommends on the best footwear to buy? Always best to as the guys doing the job I find. Thanks in advance

Hey Technician.
Decent trainers for dry days, but back up walking boots for wet days as well.
Make a note to yourself if they are really comfortable as they might not last long.
You will in time be issued a uniform allocation which will include footwear.
If you do have a really wet day use your warm airing cupboard as soon as you get home, as it might take 2/3 days for footwear to dry out.
