Had a team brief this morning and we were told that 6 walks will be made into 5 walks starting week 8 June 4th.
We don't get the ballot result until June 7th so this will be in place before any action can be taken.
AM I RIGHT OR WRONG?

I don't know if you are right or wrong.

But i will say to get your union rep to put in a dis-agreement straight away and hopefully at least that will slow the process down...

I am not working for 3 weeks....Annual leave and rest week....Just starting my 2nd week...

This morning the alley bosses went round and asked F/Ts if the minded starting at 06:15. At least its better than 7.00 which they wanted last year.

This is highly illegal, but you could all take unofficial industrial action, then someone from headquarters would get involved.

Tell them to bog off until national discussions have finished over the current pay deal.

6 into 5 is one of their ideas,it's aimed at 'improvin annual leave choice in summer but to achieve this someone has to come off their walk and go as a leave reserve who do you choose? the easiest walk?longest serving postie? along with the sharing of short term sick absence(up to 2 weeks) so in theory if they get their way, your 6 into 5 could be 6 into 4 or 5 or 3 depending on who goes sick, what happened to the 3 1/2 hr del under SDD? and they say we are all overpaid by 25% and 40%underworked
