There's an irony here, as a member of the clergy father Foreshaw-Cain is designated as the holder of an Office, and under employment legislation is deemed to be a "worker" and has protection under employment law, but as a Sub Postmaster he is also designated as the holder of an Office, but is not deemed to be a worker, and therefore has no protection under employment law.
There are Office Holders and Office Holders it seems.
