Staff at Parcelforce Worldwide in Swansea have gone on strike over what some have described as a "break down in trust" between workers and management.
Around 26 workers went on strike outside the depot on Mill Stream Way over what they described as a "break down in trust between workers and the management team".
It is unknown how many customers and deliveries have been affected by the strike.
Workers decided to go on strike on Wednesday morning but said the decision to do so had been "bubbling for months".
Mark Williams, assistant branch secretary for CWU Union, said: "The strike is to do with an industrial relation. Staff walked out this morning in support of their CWU representative.
"Staff on the morning shift left at 7.15 this morning. I support them. There's a meeting taking place today but we could be here for a while."
Damon Peters was one of the workers on strike and said that he and his colleagues are frustrated.
He said: "There's 26 of us outside on strike, only two drivers have gone out today and some workers were working nights which is why they are not here.
"There's tension with what is going to happen. Many staff are unhappy which how the representative has been treated.
"We want to go back as soon as possible but we will be here for as long as it takes.
"I feel bad for the customers as we hate letting people down but we have been left with no option but to take action."
It is understood that staff returned to work at around 3.30pm
A Parcelforce Worldwide spokeswoman said: "Parcelforce Worldwide is disappointed that unballoted industrial action has taken place at our Swansea depot.
"The unofficial dispute has been resolved and deliveries and collections have resumed as normal.
"Parcelforce Worldwide is fully committed to the process to resolve concerns of workers by following the national jointly agreed framework with the Communication Workers Union.”
