Well not really. True it's not succinct, but most points are valid ,though disputable.
Falls into the modern left tar pit of feeling the need to justify itself with utmost philosophical and background research rigour at the out set. Hence it reads as polemic,a diatribe.
As such it fails to engage the uncomitted reader,and unless it was intended as a cathartic exercise ,must be judged a failure.
Might have been better concentrating on the positives "ENSURE THAT UNION LEADERS ARE ACCOUNTABLE TO THE UNION MEMBERSHIP" etc.

Problem is that its been fleshed out with old news, what did you learn other than

Big daz: the reason we are where we are is due to the apathy and selfish attitudes that 28 years of right wing governments have nurtured. When the workers realise that their own interests can only be forwarded by solidarity and unity will the world be a better place. The vast majority of workers need to be awakened by educating themselves. They cannot be told what to do they must make their own minds up and as history of the british working class shows most can't be bothered. Until the workers turn off the sky tv, stop reading the tabloids and getting shitfaced every weekend we will always be taken for mugs.
Leighton and Crozier would not be able to hoodwink the membership if the majority of the workers realised the power to change is within their own hands.
