SAD NEWS - Missing postman found dead

Post by TrueBlueTerrier »

A Richmond postman has been found dead at a flat in Roehampton after he disappeared almost a month ago.

The body of James Seabrook, who lived with his mum in Twickenham, was discovered last Tuesday at a flat on the Alton estate. Police believe James, or Mario as he was known to his family, may have been dead for some time.

A post-mortem examination returned an inconclusive verdict, but a second is currently underway.

James, who also leaves behind two sisters and a brother, had been a postman in Richmond for eight years.

A spokesman for the Royal Mail said: The news has been devastating for his friends and colleagues as he was a hard working and popular member of the team at Richmond. Our condolences go out to his family at what is obviously a very difficult time for them."

D Insp Farrell added: "It is very sad it's turned out this way. But the family are being supported by the police and are being updated with any further information we can give them.

"Everybody I have spoken to has said what a nice, friendly guy he was. He will be sorely missed by his family and the post office where he worked."
