15 areas across Plymouth have been affected today
Royal Mail workers in the West Park Delivery Office have gone on strike today - meaning that many people across Plymouth won't have receive their post or parcels.
Thousands of homes across Plymouth in the PL5 and PL6 postcodes will have not had any deliveries this morning.
Post rounds affected include areas in Crownhill, Ernesettle, Honicknowle, Whitleigh, St. Budeaux, Tamerton Foliot, Derriford, Eggbuckland, Estover, Leigham, Roborough, Southway, Lopwell, Woolwell and Bickleigh.
According to the Royal Mail's Union the strike is over "allegations of bullying and harassment".
Royal Mail has apologised to their customers who did not receive mail services this morning and has said it is "extremely disappointed that unballoted industrial action has taken place".
The Communications Union posted on Facebook: "A walk-out at West Park delivery office in Plymouth this morning over allegations of bullying and harassment.
"The whole union is with you."
Eyewitnesses reported a large group of postal workers outside the office today from as early as 9am.
A spokesperson for Royal Mail said: "Royal Mail is extremely disappointed that unballoted industrial action has taken place this morning at West Park Delivery Office in Plymouth.
"We sincerely apologise to customers in postcode areas PL5 and PL6 who did not receive mail services this morning.
"The quality of service we provide to our customers is very important to us, and we are putting in place plans to ensure deliveries return to normal as soon as possible.
"In the meantime, the enquiry office has been open as usual for customers wishing to pick up mail that could not be delivered this morning."

When are they going to apologise to the staff for the disgraceful treatment meted out ( no pun intended) to employees by an ill trained,ill equipped and unsuited management structure for dealing with hard working employees.
