Ukulele-playing postie will be delivering music with the mail

Postie Janice Lightly will be delivering lyrics with the letters when she takes her ukulele to work as part of a series of pop concerts in the Forest of Dean.

By day Janice, a trained hairdresser from St Briavels, delivers the mail on her patch in the Forest of Dean.



By night she is a pink-haired musician who performs across Gloucestershire and the rest of the country with the Friends UkeUnited.

On Thursday both will come together as one of a series events arranged in the Forest of Dean to celebrate BBC Music Day.
