Shoppers wanting to use the Post Office in Boston's Wide Bargate are being turned away.
The Post Office at the back of WH Smith in the town is in complete darkness due a power cut.
According to staff, the shop's electricity supply is divided into two so WH Smith can remain trading.
The shop seems to be the only one effected in the town centre and investigations are under underway as to what has caused the power cut.
Staff say they are working to get the electricity supply back on as soon as possible and it is hoped to be restored in the next few hours.
In the meantime, the nearest Post Office is on West Street in the town.
