AN ISLAND couple are feared to have frozen to death together outside the Post Office they ran.
Morag and Donald Macmillan’s bodies were found yards from their home on Lewis yesterday.
The tiny community of Gravir was in mourning after the tragedy.
The Met Office had warned of sub-zero temperatures in the area.

One local said: “What appears to have happened is that one of them went outside and something happened.
“It was Baltic last night on Lewis and one of them either slipped on ice and fell over, or had a medical condition.
“The other went out and something appears to have happened to them too but they were found together.”
Donald, 73, was born locally and took over the Post Office from his dad.
Morag, 67, was born on neighbouring Harris and they had been married for 44 years.
Councillor Philip McLean said: “It’s awful. They are the centre of our community.
“They run our Post Office and everybody knows them.”
