ROMSGROVE resident Donna Newman, 42, is ‘braving the shave’ for Macmillan Cancer Support and Thomas’ Love, an organisation that fosters neglected dogs from Spain.
The big shave is set for September 17 and will take place at the Hare and Hounds pub in Rednal.
Donna said she felt inspired to do something after one of her work colleagues lost her battle with cancer.
She reached her original £200 Just Giving target in just three days and was shocked at how many people were moved by her cause.
The Arlington Avenue postwoman added: “A lot of people must want to see me bald.”
