Penzance postmen take on 190 mile Brecon Beacons cycle challenge for charity

TWO PENZANCE posties have returned from Wales after setting off on a "gruelling" cycle ride to raise funds for a charity with strong personal ties.
Steven Davy and Ian Tucker, who both work at Penzance Delivery Office, raised more than £1,700 after they completed the Devils Dragon Ride in Wales- a 190 mile cycle route through the Breacon Beacons.
The pair raised the money in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association, in memory of his Mr Davy's late father-in-law, Jeff Ashcroft, who had the disease.
"It was the hardest, most gruelling ride I have ever experienced but well worth it," said Mr Davy.
His wife, Natalie Davy, added: "Myself and our two children, Riley and Harry were immensely proud of his achievement.
