Where oh where has our post box gone?
Sunderland Point residents wanted to know after the only post box in the village disappeared.
Royal Mail removed it because it was in poor condition and will replace it soon.
But resident Margaret Owen said: “So many people up here don’t have cars and rely on the post box.”
Royal Mail apologised and advised customers to use alternative postboxes or drop their mail off at any Post Office branch but Mrs Owen said “the nearest post box is a mile and three quarters away”.
