A man is in the care of Exeter paramedics this afternoon with a nose injury, after a Post Office van he was driving collided with a lamp post.
The collision, which took place at 11.40am this morning on Pennsylvania Road, reportedly left the Vauxhall Combo driver "shaken up."
The post near the junction with Whitehorn Park has been reportedly left on an angle by the smash, with its wiring exposed.
Police say both the lamp post and the vehicle were left "in a dangerous" position and the road was partially blocked. Western Power staff were asked to attend.

I can't see a dent in the van or a dent in the lamppost so are those "library pictures" of a van, a lamppost and an ambulance in case readers had forgotten what any of them are ?
