A NEW Post Office in Carnon Downs will open next month meaning residents will have access to an extra 52 hours of services.
The Post Office will open a new-style Post Office local service at Gilletts, Smithy Lane, Thursday April 14.
arnon Downs will be a local plus branch with enhanced local services. Customers will still be able to transact manual banking, Transcash, and Royal Mail and Parcelforce Worldwide International Parcel Services and cheques will still be accepted as a method of payment.
Local residents and small business customers will be able to access a wide range of Post Office and mails services, including Special Delivery, Local Collect, home shopping returns, online banking cash deposits and withdrawals.
Other services include Post Office Card Account withdrawals, sending funds abroad using Moneygram, and customers can also pay bills, pre-order travel money, apply for travel insurance and top up mobile phones.
Opening hours will be Monday – Sunday: 7am - 9pm.
