This was the damage caused when a car and a van were involved in a collision in West Molesey on Tuesday morning.

It happened on the same stretch of Walton Road where Surrey Police officers are conducting a murder inquiry following the death of 50-year-old Robyn Mercer.

The accident, involving a Royal Mail van and a blue Peugeot car, happened at around 10.30am.

A nearby resident told Get Surrey : "I didn't see it happen, I heard a loud bang and popped upstairs for a look."
