A Muff postman whose Derry boss claimed he headbutted him during a pub brawl, was ordered to pay 2,000 euro compensation.
Tony Gormley, 30, of Wheatfield, Muff, denied assaulting his now former boss after an afternoon’s drinking in Finnegan’s bar, Muff.
After hearing accounts from both Gormley, and his former line manager, Sean Cooper, 48, on Wednesday, the judge ruled in favour of the victim.
Buncrana District Court heard from Mr Cooper, the former manager at Derry’s Royal Mail HQ, that there was “bad bloodâ€
