The Shaun Wright Foundation was launched by Becky Wright, 42, and her daughter Lucia-Rose, after he tragically died following a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
Now the pair are looking forward to holding a large charity family fun day at the Linden Club, on Love Lane Corner, on Sunday, August 30, with all the proceeds going towards Pancreatic Cancer Action.
The foundation set up in Shaun's name has gained huge backing from the postman's friends and family, with the Facebook page attracting 700 likes within the first week of it being set up.

Cleethorpes postman dies after battle with pancreatic cancer
As previously reported, Shaun died at the age of 47 while at home watching football.
His funeral at the Grimsby Crematorium was attended by some 400 relatives and friends, with the cortege led by a Royal Mail van carrying his coffin.
Becky said she wanted to set the foundation up to raise awareness of the silent killer that is pancreatic cancer.
"Cancer has ruined Shaun's life but I am determined that it will not ruin mine and Lucia's," she said.
"Something good has to come out of such an awful situation.
"He was a real family fan so the fun day will be a real tribute him.
"There will be families there just like ours."
The Shaun Wright Foundation now has a committee, which meets once a month to discuss ways in which they can raise money in Shaun's name.
One of the more vocal members of the committee is nine-year-old Lucia-Rose.
"She gets involved with the decisions the committee makes," Becky said.
"It's good for her and myself to have something like this because it is something that gets us motivated and keeps us busy.
"I'd like to think Shaun would be proud of what we are doing but I'm not too sure he'd like to see his face plastered all over town when we put the posters out!"
The family fun day, which is free admission, will also feature a football match between Wrighty's XI and the Post Office XI.
A prize raffle will also be held, with top prizes such as a boating holiday and football tickets up for grabs.
Becky is still appealing for a variety of stalls to take part during the day, with pitches being available for £15.
Pancreatic Cancer Action will have a stall to raise awareness of the devastating disease.
The family fun day will take place at the Linden Club on Love Lane Corner on Sunday, August 30, from noon.
