ROYAL Mail van was stolen while a delivery was being made at a Newport Post Office on Wednesday afternoon.
It was taken from outside the branch on Church View in Bassaleg at 1pm by a man described as being in his late 20s or early 30s. It was later found outside the Croydon Court Flats near the Glebelands at about 2pm. Some of the post in the van was also found scattered around the area.
The man is described as being skinny with dark hair. He was wearing a grey top at the time of the theft.
Gwent Police are asking people who have information to call 101 and quote log number 192 13/5/15.
