Crozier on the radio.

Post by tommymac »

Adam Crozier is due to appear on Radio Five Live this Sunday (22nd April) at 7.00pm. He will be answering questions about Royal Mail. What chance any Postal workers getting on to ask meaningful questions and getting a straight and honest answer?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Missed most of it,caught the last rambleings of the twat.
Bits i got were...
The board and top senior management are having a pay freeze as well
We're over payed by 25% compared to our competitors
And we do 40% of our work on the sorting so automation will cut that down so we can do more on our walks which we enjoy anyway

I heard that as well Postman, so its true were not getting a pay rise this year, and anything we do get weve got to get by making savings, but the top management are having a pay freeze, damn decent of them, i wouldnt be bothered about a pay rise if i was on £500,000 a year plus having a million pound bonus the year before.
Ive been doing this job for 24 years and ive never considered myself as being well paid if i was then perhaps i woulnt have done so much overtime over the years. BEING A PUBLIC SERVICE HAS GONE, PROFIT, AND PROFIT ABOVE EVERTHING ELSE IS THE NEW GOAL, .... F***ING B***ARDS. :evil/mad

Lack of investment over 20 years
Less mail to deliver each year
Lost more to competition than we thought
We need to be more productive and efficent
More jobs have to go
Pension shite again
Losing 6p on each letter
Wants business mail to be unregulated
Social mail is crap but needs to be cheap still
We are payed 25-35% more than our competitors

PostCON say very little is taken away from rm,we get the brunt of the money.

He also blamed previous Governments for lack of investment and the pension stuff and says that we have to get on with it.
Yes,the same Government that have been in power all these years then eh  and are screwing us now.

Oh and one last thing.......
