Â£304M LOST TO THE ECONOMY

As reported on BBC NEWS tonight :- "The recent postal strikes have cost Â£304million pounds to the economy of the country" Perhaps the government, the public and businesses will now realise what an important job that we do for this country. If four days of strikes can cause this much damage then imagine what it would do if it were an all out strike!
Surely now would be an ideal time for our so-called opposition to mount their own delivery service. Will they? Will they f--k. NOW IS THE TIME TO GET RID OF THOSE TWO TW *TS AT THE TOP. They have lost the workforce and no one with any sence will ever trust them. :lfo :cfo

Only a third what the Millenium Dome cost though, could do better

Does that Â£304M include the extra trade due to our stikes or just calculated costs because of it.

From what I gather the cost to the ecoonomy of traffic jams is over Â£5 Billion per year. Once you start multiplying large numbers they don't mean as much as people think they do.

Not as much as they've lost fighting for US oil concerns in the last couple of years.
