A fatal accident inquiry into the death of an island postman killed when he was hit by his van is due to start.
Ronnie Morrison, 60, from Benbecula, was killed in March of last year when he was working at the back of the vehicle when it rolled over him.
The inquiry is due to start at Lochmaddy Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
The incident happened in Ford Terrace on Benbecula, a small cul-de-sac just off the main A865 road near the causeway with South Uist.
It is understood Mr Morrison was caught under the vehicle as he removed parcels from the back at around 11.30am on Thursday March 28.
