A new post box will be installed in Biggleswade’s Kings Reach estate.
Royal Mail has confirmed that it will be setting up a post box in the estate, and is currently considering where it will be installed.
The firm will now be consulting with the highways department at Central Beds Council to decide on a suitable location and to seek clearance for the site.
It will then consult utility companies to make sure that the installation will not interfere with any pre-existing pipes or cables.
Royal Mail has confirmed that it is hoping to install the post box in the next few months, and ideally within 16 weeks.
