It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Thanks for that, it all helps. What I'd really like to find out now is what kind of deal they got on their pensions.

That is dispicable, I may not work for RM anymore but will fully support action against things like this.

If they do four days in one go it will in our office lead to a backlash. I very much doubt whether I will receive a pay slip in the post tomorrow, unless RM's battle plans are to fast track our wages to us to piss us off for the weekend.

MY HUBBY AND THE AREA HE WORKS IN THEY ALL JUST GOT THEIR RETURN TO WORK 9 PAGE BRIEF...WHICH STATED THAT IF YOU TOOK PART IN THE INDUSTRIAL ACTION THAT THE 4 DAYS IS COMING OF YOUR WAGE AT ONCE...
NOW CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG BUT DID WE NOT WORK 3 DAYS LAST WEEK AND WE WILL BE WORKING 3 DAYS THIS WEEK SO SHOULD WE NOT BE PAID ACCORDINGLY...SURELY THEY CANT GET AWAY WITH THAT THERE MUST BE SOME SORT OF LEGAL LOOP HOLE THAT THE CWU COULD GET AROUND THIS..LIKE I SAY DONT KNOW IF I'M RIGHT OR WRONG ... ANY REMARKS ON THIS WOULD BE WELCOME ... P.S PUTS OUR FAMILY RIGHT IN THE s++t if it does happen as we both work for this place which is fast becoming the doorway to hell....
good luck to those out at the moment
