A 43-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested after failing to attend court to be sentenced for threatening a postman while brandishing a knife and fork.
Peter Chaloner was arrested at his home in St John's Avenue, Churchdown, after not turning up for his hearing at Gloucester Crown Court on Thursday.
On February 7 he attacked a manager at the Co-op store in St John's Avenue, before threatening a postman while brandishing a knife and fork, and officers found cannabis at his home when he was arrested afterwards.
Chaloner has been remanded in custody until he is sentenced on May 17.
Last month he admitted charges of assault, using threatening and abusive language, possession of a knife in a public area, and possession of cannabis in relation to February 7.
