Making it better for customers
Delivery
As part of the improvements we’re making to our parcel product ranges for consumers and small business including franking customers, we’re re-launching Recorded Signed For as Royal Mail Signed For.
Last year we delivered nearly 100 million Signed For items. It is expected to increase further as customers, particularly eBayers and small businesses, increasingly want confirmation that their parcel has been delivered.
Royal Mail Signed For is a great value option for customers to have this piece of mind.
Easier
They can check proof of delivery through our website. Soon it will be even easier for them to check when we launch our new mobile website which is currently in development.
Ensuring we get the customer’s signature is absolutely crucial with Signed For items. If we just post the item through the door, we will be liable for compensation of up to £50.
Customers
Customers will be able to send their parcels First or Second Class using our Royal Mail Signed For product. The re-launch is being supported by new labels, packaging and indicia which are being rolled out on a phased basis from 2 April.
Look out for the Royal Mail Signed For golden rules and one point lessons soon.

Printers will be happy ... let's throw away all the old stickers and get a load of new ones ... not unlike train franchises and painters ...

Royal Mail
failing the workforce, failing the public and deliberately failing mail on a daily basis for too many years.

Will these new labels be ones you can peel off and stick on your signed for paper sheet? Or will you have to write the digits of the recorded onto the paper sheet?
