ROYAL Mail staff at the Bodmin delivery office had a busy end to 2012 when they helped to raise £2,500 to battle prostate cancer.

Sixteen men were brave enough to grow moustaches for the Movember charity appeal and raised £1,250, a sum matched by Royal Mail.

It started when postie Dave Hoskin, who lost his dad to prostate cancer, was helped by his colleagues to raise £280 with sumer barbecues and a quiz night with delivery office manager, Rob Butler, as quiz master.

Another of the posties, Scott Cavill, suggested the office take part in Movember to raise more money. Everyone involved thanked those who donated money.
