EXCITED children hoping to receive a visit from Father Christmas this year will be able to send him letters using a special festive post box in Malvern.
The Victorian post box, donated by the Great Malvern Royal Mail Delivery Office, will be placed inside the tourist information centre, in Church Street, from Monday, November 12.
Youngsters can send letters using a special £1 stamp and will receive a personal reply and a small gift direct from the North Pole.
Proceeds from the event are being donated to Acorns Children’s Hospice and last year the scheme raised £178.
The post box will be available in the evening during the town’s Christmas lights switchon on Saturday, December 1, and the last date for posting letters is Friday, December 14.
