Bristol's Royal Mail workers' choir have narrowly missed out on the top spot in Gareth Malone's TV show The Choir: Sing While You Work.
Severn Trent Water’s choir took the victory.
In last night’s final episode of The Choir: Sing While You Work on BBC Two, the choir sang to victory with their rendition of Feeling Good, made famous by Nina Simone, Muse and Michael Bublé.
The grand finale saw the three remaining choirs face their biggest challenge yet, as they took to the stage in front of thousands at one of the world’s most prestigious choral music festivals - the International Eisteddfod in Llangollen.
Belting out their final notes in the competition, the choirs were each scrutinised by Ruby Turner, Ralph Allwood and Manvinder Rattan, the series’ judges.
It was a close call with the Royal Mail choir praised for their ability to sing quietly with impact and Lewisham Healthcare NHS Trust blowing the judges away once again.
However, Severn Trent Water’s choir rose to the challenge and were complimented on their confidence on stage, fantastic singing and overall accomplished performance.
As far are the judges were concerned, it was a “unanimous decision”.
With each choir given a new song for the final, Royal Mail sung their hearts out to Fleetwood Mac’s Don’t Stop and Lewisham Healthcare NHS Trust performed For Once in My Life, made famous by Stevie Wonder.
One of the Bristol singers, Charlie Davies, a postman from Westbury-on-Trym, will now be able to turn his full attention back to Redland Green Choir.
Don Whiting, a spokesman for the choir, said: “Charlie sings in the tenor section of our choir.
“Since April, when he became one of the founder members of the Royal Mail Choir, he has led a double life – rehearsing and performing with us and also practising hard with his work colleagues to compete in the BBC Television competition.
“We’ve all been crossing our fingers and following the choir’s progress and we’re very proud of what they’ve achieved.”

Re: Bristol's Royal Mail workers miss out
I congratulate the Bristol Choir on doing so brilliantly. It must be so disapointing for you all to go so close. Keep on trying. One day soon it will all be worthwhile.
