Monday, 10.45am: Royal Mail staff who staged a walkout in Peterborough this morning have returned to work.
About 40 staff from the Peterborough Orton Southgate Delivery Office, in Bakewell Road, took the unofficial industrial action this morning (Monday).
The walkout, said by a Communications Workers Union (CWU) spokeswoman to be over “unagreed working practices”, involved about half the site’s staff and lasted in the region of two hours.
The spokeswoman added: “Senior CWU reps are speaking with local management this morning to try and resolve the issues.”
