Even though Brown won't say yes or no, there may be a snap election this year. I wonder how many union members across the country would vote Labour as is the tradition. His insistance on pegging all public sector pay increases to 2-2.5% could come back and bite him on the arse.
Be very careful Gord, piss the union element off and you'll have one of the shortest premierships on record.

He can stick his vote up his arse as he will not get my vote.

All he does is try to screw the workers and back :lfo and :cfo

No trade unionist worth their salt would vote for a party that unleashes wolves like Leighton & Crozier on them, and their fellow workers.

Good point borders. Can't vote Tory, i'd rather drop dead. Won't vote Lib Dem. They've got a bloke leading them called minger on something. The only alternative, apart from not voting, is Respect. I'd only vote for them if they got rid of that twat Galloway. We could always start our own Public Sector Party. Put a candidate up in as many constituencies as possible just to feck Brown off.

I have not made my mind up yet but the Greens appear quite Socialist in their views.

It's not apathy mate. It's antipathy. Apathy suggests we couldn't care less about things. I do care, it's just that I don't think the parliamentary system has anything to offer us these days. Apart from the occassional reform after 1945, which have mostly been done away with by subsequent governments, there is little to comment Westminster or the scum who hang about there.

Cruisey-- i expect you would possibly have a Respect candidate in your area. why not vote for them as a protest vote !! Galloway didnt do his image a lot of good on Big Brother but a lot of what Respect stand for would be a breath of fresh air compared to the other 3 Conservative parties !!!

The problem with not voting at all is that the New Labour Spin Machine claims that it is because people are 'content' and don't feel the need for change.
If there isn't a candidate you feel you can vote for you should at least spoil your ballot paper - write on it why you are not voting for anyone. At least they will know it's not due to apathy or 'contentment'.
