Has anybody seen this.
Somebody found this in our office this morning.
So we photocopied it and hand it out

I'm sorry if it not come out properly first time ive uploaded stuff!!!!
If somebody from admin could sort it out, would be greatly thankful!!!

It seems the RM propaganda machine is kicking in even though they are waiting for a response from the CWU.

They aren't waiting for a response from the CWU - they don't think the CWU is a threat - they are pulling the strings and the exec are dancing. By all accounts there was a meeting of reps that wanted to re-institute the strike action, as we all do, but the exec thought it wisest to wait. I think it's time we were brutally honest and tell them who is paying who.

There's that 'our people' garbage again! George Orwell could take lessons from these scumbags. Someone should tell them this approach does not work. No one owns me, so I'm not one of their people. I do my job, no more and no less. They pay me, (after having taken a very large slice for themselves out of the mmoney I earn) and I go home. What sort of person sees him or herself as one of 'their people? Only a bloody moron would think in those terms.

"Our people", typical use of managerese, by the terminally nasty, like Leighton & Crozier. I suppose if they were to call us by our proper
title, workers, they'd break out in a rash.

Me too! I go to work, I do what I am asked to do within the hours and then I go home. I take off the uniform and my day is done. I don't come in early, I don't think I am Royal Mails property or anyone else's'. I used to enjoy working and that has been wherever I have worked including RM until a few years ago. Now I feel I am one of "those people" as opposed to one of "our people".

They can get stuffed if they think im giving anymore of my time to them just because someone decides to go sick or whathaveyou...you only get one life and Royal sodding Mail arent having anymore than 8 hours of it a day!!!

This is why the union rejected the offer. I've got no problem with working all of my hours. What I ain't prepared to do is flex my hours, do extra work for no pay, bank hours, work til i'm 65 etc. Oh and I don't want a share in a public service either.
If EVERYONE did the job right, then NO-ONE would have to extra work for nothing. START AT YUR RIGHT TIME, TAKE YOUR BREAKS, USE ALL ALLOTTED TRAVEL TIME. STOP USING YOUR CARS TOO.

-I love the royal we-we are in this together -we -until blame culture comes into play-13hr shifts on the cheap at xmas , that's postcon's influence . Business Post staff are on Â£5.35p.h. and threaten staff who join the CWU with the sack.
