PEOPLE in Mansfield will receive their post later in the morning as part of Royal Mail delivery changes.

Revised delivery routes have been drawn up and Royal Mail has said it will write to every household affected by the plans.

Mail will be delivered for a longer period during the day, however Royal Mail has said "many customers" will continue to get their mail by lunchtime.

A spokesman said: "Fewer letters are now posted every day and Royal Mail needs to organise its delivery routes to be as efficient as possible.

"We also deliver more larger items so we are investing in equipment to carry them more securely."
