Twoo weeks since the talks broke down and we still can't tell members what's going on...Tehy should both be tabling the new counter proposals and announcing dates for action...The longer we leave it the harder it will be to get people back out on the pickets....I have a bad feeling about this, I feel an Alan Johnson coming, I hope I'm bloody well wrong.

They are so part apart, they had better not be even contemplating signing up to agreement close to the one rejected!

Enough is enough what is wrong with these people in headquaters. These 2 morons :lfo :cfo are laughing at us all. Stop kissing their arse and get us some dates for action or come October 8th we are taking our own action. Then we will deal with those who need removing messrs Ward and Hayes.

Yes i totally agree, the union should announce strike dates NOW and then table their offer to royal mail, rather than let them llook over it for six months because lets not forget this has really been going for that long, so come on CWU show some balls and sort it :no no

Having read RM's draconian offer document any counter offer will be light years away and should only be used as a pre-cursor to more drastic measures.

CWU need to achieve more than simply reach an agreement (which RM will bulldoze aside when it suits them) they need to undermine Leighton and Croziers credibility and do it in such a way that the countries media focuses on the manner in which they are destroying this countries postal industry.

People keep saying that the liberalisation program cannot be undone and that there is no turning back. Elements of this are true however if the Government starts treating this industry as a service and not just a potential cash cow then measures can be quickly put in place to prevent firms from cherry picking the profitable products whilst distancing themselves from the less palatable areas of the business.

Anyone seen any chicken heads? There's a few headless chickens in London oh and if anyone has a pair of balls going spare....................
If talks and hot air was action we'd have won this already.

Are we not on strike on the 25th then?

And one of them has a Liverpool accent mate! Pity he doesn't act like Leo McGree instead of just reading about him.
