PEC have two choices.

Chances are there will be more talks, announcement later tonight.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Announce strike dates then see what that pair of wide boys want. Give them the seven days notice required, so by next week let's get the rolling strikes goin again. Let's call the shots this time!

Yeah I agree; no more mr nice guy. Announce strike dates. Continue talks. Call off strike when, and only when, an agreement is reached.

I don't doubt that yr right - but can I ask roughly - where ya got info from? All I can see on official CWU LTB's is info on Equal Ops Conference & advise on cardboard inserts for yorks! I have asked for info from my area rep & chairman - have passed on what I know - but am being totally ignored. My branch will remember this - at the next elections - when they try & preserve their 'release time'! I am one totally pi**ed off rep! :arrrghhh :arrrghhh

They've had nearly 4 weeks to come up with a deal,it was on the verge of agreement .Then Royal Mail pull out at last minute when it could of been settled. Now they want more talks!Unbelievable, they had their chance they blew it.
The ball's in our court now ,this I believe strenghtens our hand.Announce more strike dates.

I too feel we must announce dates and strike until agreement reached. Think there will be less support for industrial action if we have to go through the previous process and let RM take the P*SS out of us.
