TV Licensing workers in Darwen have vowed to keep up industrial action for as long as it takes.
Staff at the Capita offices in India Mill walked out for a second time yesterday in their ongoing pay dispute with management.
David Wilshire, from the Communication Workers Union, who co-ordinated the action, said: “Today went fantastically well.
"We had a bigger turnout than last time. We had about 20 in the picket line but there were far more than that who didn’t turn in for work.
"We’re all determined to see it through.”
The dispute rages over a payrise offer of 2.6 per cent.
Union officials will assess the situation later this week to decide on their strategy for the future.
