A MAN has been arrested following an armed raid on a village post office.
The 24-year-old Gloucester man was arrested in connection with the incident in Upton St Leonards on Saturday, October 8.
He has been questioned and released on police bail until January.
Officers continue to investigate the raid, which happened at 9am when the store was opening up.
Masked men, armed with machetes, burst over the counter and tried to smash the protective glass. A 60-year-old female employee was slashed on the arm before the men rode off on bikes.
Anyone with information should call 101 quoting incident 150 of October 8.
