Tributes to Mold postman

POSTMEN lined the entrance to St Mary’s Church in Mold to pay tribute to a colleague.

Graham Nevett, 63, from Mynydd Isa, had been a postman for 20 years before his death.

His funeral was held on Monday.

Royal Mail manager Shane Dunn said: “Graham was a well liked and much loved postman in the Mold delivery office where he worked for 20 years, and in the community in Lllanarmon yn Ial, where he delivered mail for most of his career with Royal Mail.

“He was a very generous man with both his time and his concern for others and he will be sorely missed.”

More than 60 postmen in uniform lined the entrance to the church for his funeral.

Staff are also making a collection in his memory for Mold Cottage Hospital.
