A MEMORIAL trophy in honour of a Motherwell postman who died on his round last summer has been presented to a local flute band.
The Bro David Mathie Memorial Cup was handed to the Pride of Motherwell Flute Band for being the best band on parade in the town during the Boyne celebrations.
Mr Mathie’s Lodge Star of Temperance LOL 669 presented the cup to mark the anniversary of David’s death on July 28.
