Looks like if your still in the pub you can still take strike action tonite hic up
Royal Mail Dispute – Industrial Action
In line with the terms of the Joint Statement agreed today, I am writing to advise you that all of the Industrial Action notified to you in respect of the above has now been withdrawn.
However in view of the late conclusion of the resolution and the fact that some members have previously been advised that they are due to take Industrial Action today from 7pm a number may not be made aware in time for them to attend their duties/overtime etc, the withdrawal will be on the following basis. That any individual who fails to attend for their shift etc would still be considered to be taking Official Industrial Action until such time as they return to work.

What's the betting anyone not turning in gets a phonecall from their manager telling them the strike is off and they have to report for duty. While obviously forgetting to inform them that the late announcement means they don't officially have to attend. More lies and bully boy tactics from the screws .

Has taken us 4-5 weeks to push Royal Mail into a position of communication, I do feel personaly that this weeks action should have stood, that would indicate to the buisness that we are not in the mood for messing we are all fed up. Just as likely to use this time to clear all lines of mail then try it on again, sorry guys I sound sinical thats how I feel.Im sure Im not the only one! Feel we should have brought the buisness to its knees they have shown what they feel about us which is not alot to be fair personal dicrimenation attacks on postal staff who simply cant complete the duty in the given time. MOST IMPORTANT AT THIS STAGE IS THE ON THE VAN CAMPAIGN SHOW YOUR SIGNAL OF INTENT IN ON TIME OUT IN THE VAN DONT GO OVER YOUR TIME LET THEM WORRY ABOUT IT !!!!!

One of ours who is off on Fridays was texted that the strike was off, did not believe his mate and came in to do docket. As soon as he found out that the strike was indeed cancelled he walked out as he was only working to make money up from strike. Lineo took it very personally as well as the guy walked out 1/2 hour before kick out.
