I presume you dont have any housing costs because the RPI in which they are included and is the real cost of living is 5.1%, so our miserly pay increase this April will be in fact a massive 3.5% pay CUT.

Spot on labbloke ,but even worse than that,when you factor in the true effect of RPI inflation on those earning less than the average wage it works out close to a 10% drop in living standards Just wait till those interest rate rises kick in , it will be interesting
