Stratford - Problems with post

STRATFORD MP Nadhim Zahawi is to meet a Royal Mail director in an effort to sort out the problem of postal deliveries in his constituency. As reported in the Journal last week, some areas of south Warwickshire, including Shipston and villages such as Little Wolford, have not been getting their post, or have been getting an erratic service, following a reorganisation of routes and working practices at the Stratford Sorting Office. Mr Zahawi is meeting Royal Mail regional delivery director Wayne Jay, tomorrow after writing to Royal Mail Group’s chief executive Moya Greene last month. Mr Zahawi said: “Some three weeks after initial problems were reported I’m still receiving daily e-mails from concerned constituents whose postal deliveries are far from reliable if they are even happening. I shall be asking Mr Jay for an explanation of what exactly has gone wrong, and why Royal Mail decided that just before Christmas was the right time to make what are clearly major and disastrous changes. I’ll also be asking for an undertaking that the organisation will have the issue resolved in time for pre-Christmas deliveries.”

This just shows that the royal mail do not care about the service just get the rivisions in quick. No one with half a mind would put a revision in in november or december . Three of our managers from nuneaton are in stratford doing deliverys . Just shows how good stratfords area manager realy is he does not even look after his own managers. Don,t think him or this situation will last for long hopefully
