Post Office voted favourite for foreign exchange and travel insurance

The public has once again choosen the Post Office as its favourite travel insurance and foreign exchange provider at this year’s British Travel Awards.

The Post Office has now won the title of ‘Best Travel Insurance Provider’ for five consecutive years and enjoys four consecutive years as ‘Best Foreign Exchange Provider’.

Sarah Munro, Post Office Head of Travel Services, said: "We’re very excited that once again we have been be recognised by the travel industry and more importantly the UK public for the travel services we offer. This has been another tough year for both the travel industry and holidaymakers themselves and it is encouraging that people continue to trust and value the services offered by the Post Office."

The independent travel insurer issues almost a million travel insurance policies every year and recently launched a new ‘tiered’ policy, which offers customers a choice of three levels of cover and price depending on their requirements. In the event that a customer needs to make a claim, the Post Office will settle complete claims within five days working days.
