A POSTMAN took part in a popular half marathon to raise money to fight against heart disease.
Rob Jones, of Ethelda Drive, Hoole, managed to raise £200 for the British Heart Foundation (BHF) after running in the Edinburgh Half Marathon.
Rob, 26, who finished the route in one hour and 27 minutes, said he is already making plans to run in more challenges.
He said: “It went well. I was pleased with my time.
“The atmosphere on the day was brilliant. I took part in this challenge because heart disease has affected several members of my family and BHF has been doing a lot to fight this disease.”
