RM Puts Agencies On Alert As It Shakes Up £2m PR Budget

Five agencies have been put on alert as the troubled Royal Mail Group sets out to overhaul its £2m PR budget.

Royal Mail currently uses Eulogy, Blue Rubicon, Shine, 3 Monkeys and Lansons for all activities. The group revealed in a statement that its contract for PR services is 'due to expire later this year'.

Royal Mail director of communications Richard Stephenson is behind the refresh. The tender document is expected to be issued in late May, and the whole process is expected to take a number of months.

A statement from Royal Mail said: 'These services will be advertised ... in due course, when interested agencies will be invited to apply.'
