General Election Date Confirmed

Post by brothermagrew »

The General Election date has been confirmed for Thursday 6th May 2010.

Something of a non-event for me. :cuppa
Still, I won't be bored shitless for the next month, not as long as I can find the "OFF" button on the remote, I won't. :cuppa

Wonder how long it will be before we get the beseeching letter from the CWU hierarchy - "We must support labour to get our Pension deficit sorted" - yeah right like for the last 3 years then.......................it won't be long before the pair of them crash and burn..........................no safe seats for our "boys" until 2020 at least.

Yeah, won't be long now.
I do think they sort of compliment each other, New Labour and the CWU, like Laurel & Hardy.

Labour will not tough our pension without it being part of the package of measures that was the PSB, confirmed by Lord Young (Remember him?) this week in the House of Lords.

Have Billy and Dave and therefore us been conned by Mandy Pandy?

Well we might well have been conned - but the other two - you seem to think it will affect them in some way, nope, their pension is paid by us and it is the full monty not the watered down version you will get.
