A man accused of shooting dead the son of a village sub-postmaster in a raid claimed yesterday he was out jogging that day.
Anselm Ribera, 34, was captured on CCTV leaving home before dawn. Prosecutors claim he was going to meet the other three accused before the January 9 raid in Fairfield, Worcs.
But Ribera, of Druids Heath, Birmingham, told the city's crown court he would have been setting out on an eight or nine-mile run.
He denies murdering Craig Hodson-Walker, 29. Christopher and Declan Morrissey, 32 and 33, and Adrian Snape, 25, all of Birmingham, also deny murder. The trial continues.
