Will labour swing to the left if we lose the election

The labour campaign team believe there are three quarteers of a mllion former labour voters who have stayed at home since 97′ who may come back next year and another three quarters of a million labour voters who while voting labour all their lives switched to the Lib Dems last time who could come back plus half a million voters who haven’t made up their minds yet, so on that thought, I haven’t headed this when we loose the election(stop laughing)

Labour always swings to the left after it falls from power, 1935 ,1951 with the Bevanites ,After 1970 and as in that exception we were back in power within 4 years by the end of the decade when we had lost again we swung even further left,

Now, Obviously People as diverse as Charles Clarke and Dennis Healey not backing trident renewal is encouraging as is the 50p tax rate and the same for Stephen Pound opposing the breaking up of the Royal mail, And the Compass group have some inspiring people and Ultra Blairites Like Hutton,Milburn and Byers are going

During the 80’s whatever our problems we were still thought of as the party of the NHS, other issues like the economy or transport we were thought of as being weak on, and to win elections you can’t be thought of as weak, even transport as where we were liked for funding trains, we were percieved(wrongly imho)as being anti motorists and anti air travel,

Although Ed Miliband is thought of as left of centre, I can’t see their being a back bench revolt for us to swing to the left at the expense of us being thought of as anti business, weak on crime or anti commuters,

But the real question was even if we swing quite rightly a bit to the left, will unions start funding us again?, i feel the answer to that is No,

They will make lots of promises, just like they did before 1997 - will they do anything for the working class is another thing!

Just wait until the election gets a bit nearer. 'The Voice' will become a Labour Party pamphlet again. Our Glorious Leader in his editorials will tell us how much worse everything will become under the Tories, which is all we can expect from these people since the Labour Party had nothing to commend it and "Vote Labour because we're not the Conservatives" is the nearest they have to a big idea.Crap on the Labour Party, the illegal wars their members support, the racism they encourage, the rich parasites they suck up to, the unelected, sleazy bastard they have calling the shots with Crozier, their expense claims, their closed schools and their shut down hospital wards.
The Industrial Workers of the World. The union whose members never scab!

"The working class and the employing class have nothing in common."
